TERMS OF SERVICE

All written pieces are set at a rate of $25 USD per 1000 words. Unless otherwise specified.Price is inclusive of: complete written product, production time, editing, and revisions.Completed published works on Ao3 may be linked to at any time.Completed private works may not be posted publicly at any time.
Private works may be shared at discretion with prior discussion and approval.Once your application has been received, you will be added to the Comms Queue.Writer has the right to refuse a commission for any reason.

Length

Length is subject to agreement and payment.Quotes are provided for all commission applications with a word limit range estimated to capture the story desired.Length of a commission may be subject to:

✧ ComplexityWriter will provide recommendations to achieve desired story within desired length and/or budget.Any additional prose over the advised and agreed length will be free of charge.Tips are welcome for any additional prose or at personal discretion via Ko-fi

First Check-In and First Draft

First check-in is where you will provided the first section of the piece for review. This will check for tone, detailing, and that you are happy with the work completed so far. This is the written equivalent of a first sketch.Second check-in is the rough draft of the length of the written work and an opportunity for any revisions and feedback prior to the final edit and completion of the work.

Payment

Payment is accepted via PayPal invoice.Invoice shall be sent to the provided email address once outline is approved.A deposit is due to start the work, unless otherwise agreed.Full payment is required following the First Check-In to complete the work.Refunds are permitted in instances where the work cannot be completed, in extenuating circumstances, or at Writer discretion. Any written work completed prior to refund is forfeited and may be destroyed.

Revisions

Written prose will be completed as per the approved outline.Changes to the Outline
Following outline approval, all requests for changes to the desired story must be requested by the channel of previous contact or by emailing [email protected] as soon as you are aware of the wish to change details.Additional Revisions Costs
Reasonable re-edits and changes are included in the cost of the commission.In the event of an exceptional number of revisions, including but not limited to: departures from the original request, reworking the final draft into a completely new work, and editing that adds considerably to the word limit; may result in additional charges raised for services rendered.

Publication

The writer maintains the right to post completed works to Ao3 at their discretion unless otherwise specified by the commissioner. This will be confirmed during discussions.Options include:
✧ Public & Identified - Posted on Ao3, linked on Socials + gifted to Ao3 account
✧ Public & Anonymous - Posted on Ao3 without identifying factors
✧ Completely Private - Work for you with shareable link for you to share privately as you choose
